Savannah Suitcase Drive For Foster Children
Dated: November 13 2020
🤩 Suitcase Drive for Foster Children! 🤩
November 16th through December 11th
Are you looking for a way to give back this holiday season? We're on a mission to collect 376 suitcases for every child in foster care in Chatham County.
The Jenny Rutherford Real Estate team is partnering with Savannah/Chatham CASA to have a suitcase drive for foster children this holiday season. Often times when children in the foster care system move from home to home they have to put their belongings in a trash bag. No child should ever have to experience this. Jenny Rutherford was a CASA volunteer for several years, advocating for children in foster care in Chatham County. She knows first hand what a great organization CASA is. Jenny and her team want to continue helping the kids in foster care and make their holiday season extra special.
Jenny Rutherford Real Estate and CASA are collecting suitcases in new or gently used condition. The wheels, zippers and handles must work.
You can drop-off suitcases at the Jenny Rutherford Real Estate offices located at 311 Habersham Street in Savannah and 1202-B US 80 on Tybee Island. See drop-off times below. Please call (912)-388-2828 to schedule an after hours drop-off. The drive will begin on November 16, 2020 and end on December 11, 2020. The CASA team will then distribute the suitcases to the children in foster care!
