500 Million Dollar Industrial Park Planned In South Effingham

A $500 Million industrial park starts construction in December and will house light industrial & manufacturing warehouses. The new development will be named the Georgia International Trade Center and will sit only 9.5 miles from the Georgia Ports Termial. Construction will take between 5 & 10 years to complete and include 7.2 million sqft of space. Developers are hoping to attract large businesses such as Amazon, although they are not in talks at this time. The warehouse should bring hundred of jobs to the Effingham County area!
