Winter is truly here now in the Savannah and Tybee Island area!!!

Reports of snow tomorrow!

Image titleClients are calling in with frozen pipes and heat outtages already with this early 2018 Wintery Storm Mix on the way! If you're in need of plumbers or HVAC techs, let us know and we are happy to share our contacts with you to get you back inspiration! Some homeowners and tenants forgot or did not know to run their pipes overnight have already experienced frozen pipes, burst pipes and flooding in and beneath there homes as well as heating systems that don't keep up! While these low temperatures are not common in our area, this serves as a reminder of why maintenance on all of your systems is so important!

TIP: Please plan to drip your water tonight! Plumbers recommend a stream the size of a pencil lead for consistent flow and to run the faucet the furthest away from where the water enters into your home. And of course, leave your heat on overnight and while you're away!! Preventing burst pipes may only cost a few extra dollars in utilities over $1000s in repairs!!

This is also a good time to schedule maintenance on your Heating System in your home as this is likely to not be the only below freezing temperatures over next couple of days! Happy New Year!
