Serving The Community

Jenny Rutherford has been part of the Tybee community for many years, working tirelessly to make it a better place. After Hurricane Irma, over 125 homes were flooded including Jenny's. Understanding the many needs of our residents having been hit twice in less than a year, Jenny created an easy location online at HelpTybee.com to connect neighbors in need with volunteers quickly.

When the Savannah Area Realtors reached out to find out how they could help our Island, Jenny said that many people were unable to relocate, their beds had been affecting in flooding and truly needed a dry clean place to sleep for the night! Together, our Savannah Area Realtors raised over $10,000 between Brokers and Agents to purchase over 60 Queen Size beds, bed frames, mattress protectors, linens and pillows for those in need!
