Calling all COLLEGE STUDENTS! GAR Scholarship Foundation is Offering College Scholarships and we'd love to help you apply! We are currently looking for upcoming talent in the #realestate world!
New in 2018, the GAR Scholarship Foundation is excited to offer $1,000 scholarships for college students!
The scholarship is available to any full-time undergraduate student attending an accredited university in the state of Georgia (private or state) majoring in real estate or a real estate-related field. The applicant must be enrolled in college to apply but does not have to be a freshman.
One new scholarship recipient will be selected for each school year, and once awarded, the scholarship is renewable for up to three times for a maximum of four scholarships. While anyone can apply, preference is given to relatives of GAR members.
The deadline to apply for this year is May 15, 2018.

One new scholarship recipient will be selected for each school year. Once awarded, the scholarship is renewable for up to three times for a maximum of four scholarships.
Please read the criteria below, complete the application and email back to the Scholarship Foundation, email@example.com, for consideration. The application deadline is May 15 each year for the following school year.

One new applicant will be awarded a scholarship the upcoming school year in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship is renewable for up to three times for a maximum of four scholarships.
The applicant must be enrolled in college to apply but does not have to be a freshman.
All applicants will be screened and selected by the Scholarship Committee Trustees.
Scholarships may be used for tuition, fees, meal plan, dorm fees and other directly-related school expenses. Scholarship funds cannot be used for travel or off-campus living expenses.
The application must include:
- High school / college transcripts (Student copies of official college transcripts will be accepted but not transcripts printed from a school's website portal.)
- SAT/ACT scores,
- A 500-600 word essay to summarize college and career plans in addition to why the applicant feels deserving of the scholarship, and
- Two letters of recommendation; one from a teacher/professor and one from a non-family member. Letters must be signed and include contact information of the person making the recommendation.
To renew a scholarship, the student must:
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale,
- Provide current transcripts documenting GPA and current major, and
- Submit the renewal request form.
A change of major prior to the start of a school year will result in the loss of the scholarship effective immediately. Changes made during a school year will result in loss of the scholarship effective the following school year.
Priority will be given to Georgia REALTOR® relatives.
Real estate-related degrees could include Finance, Business, Law, etc., subject to the discretion of the Scholarship Trustees and dependent upon what career the applicant intends to pursue with the degree.
Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status, handicap, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
